Clothing Envy

So I've been thinking about something that I suffer with, Clothing Envy! I'm sure we've all been there, seen something in a magazine or someone else wearing something we love and either can't afford or we know it won't suit us. But that won't stop us from wanting that item. So what can we do about it? My advice, search for a similar item at an affordable price. Look for a high street version. You will find nowadays that the high street have upped their quality and range so as to cater for a more expensive taste we seem to have acquired even though we don't have the funds. If you don't find what you are lookin for or even find a alternative that u like, look online at secondhand sites. Www.asosmarketplace.com is a great site. You even get to see regular people wearing the clothes they are selling. Also www.ebay.co.uk is a favourite of many people. If you don't feel like you trust buying designer items off the internet, why not have a look in charity shops. You can get some amazing bargains if you search well. In my next post I'll give you some examples.

High Street Fashion Parade

I love working on a high street and watching the people passby. I regularly get to work on the high street in Borehamwood. The people there range from well dressed business people to tracksuit wearing families. Even though there may be a contrast in outfit choices, u can still tell that most people try and make an effort! I'm thinking that if this blog really takes off then possibly I may ask people if I can photograph them and add their picture to the posts. For now I'll stick to asking friends and family to be models.

First post

So here we go, I thought i would try my hand at blogging! What better subject could I find to blog about than fashion?! But as always with me, I've decided to make it my own and I want to share the everyday urban chic fashion that is worn around me in my day to day life. I find many people today really have taken the time to really think about what they are going to wear for each occasion, and I love that. The posts you'll find contain my opinions and thoughts so please take them with a pinch of salt. So here we go and I hope you enjoy following and reading this blog.
